What is the purpose of this research?

This study sets out to determine what people think about the various things that dogs do in our homes.

What would I do if I participate?

You will see video clips of various dogs doing many different kinds of things. You will then have the opportunity to react to the video clips by writing a brief description of what you think is going on in the video and then indicating what you would do if your own dog behaved the same way.

What risks are involved with this study?

There are no more than minimal risks beyond those of daily life.

Can I quit if I become uncomfortable?

Yes, absolutely. You can close the survey at any moment.

How long will participation take?

The survey will take approximately 25 minutes.

How are you protecting my privacy?

All data will be kept confidential. Your responses will be assigned a unique participant ID that will be used for all data sheets, records, and public materials. Your identifying information will never appear in any publications or presentations.

How will I benefit from participating?

There are no direct benefits anticipated from participating in this study.
